This program will help you calculate the
Body Mass Index (BMI), or Quetelet index, that is a statistical measurement
which compares a person's weight and height. Though it does not actually measure the percentage of body fat, it is a useful tool to estimate a healthy body weight based on how tall a person is.

Also, it will calculate the Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) value for you depending on your age and mass index.
Basal metabolic rate is the amount of
energy expended while at rest in a neutrally temperate environment, in the post-absorptive state (meaning that the digestive system is inactive,
which requires about twelve hours of fasting in humans).
