Bubble Add is an application that provides an entertaining mathematical learning experience with colorful bubbles, audio and animated graphics. It is specifically intended for your youngest mathematician. Version 2.0 added the subtract function. The application has three levels of addition and three levels of substraction. The first level of addition includes problems whose sum is less than or equal to 10 and have no carrying. Ex: 5 + 3. The second level contains problems whose sum is less than 20 and contains no carrying. Ex: 10 + 2. The third level contains problems whose sum is less or equal to 20 and has carrying. Example 5 + 8. Level one of subtraction involves numbers no greater than 10, level two no greater than 20, and level three 50. The first two levels involve no borrowing. Before the game begins, the user selects the function of add or subtract and then the level desired. Youngsters are presented with 20 addition or subtraction problems using whole numbers. Translucent bubbles containing random answers float across the screen inviting the user to choose the bubble containing the correct answer to the math problem. A positive response is given for the correct answer. Otherwise, the user is gently encouraged to try again. Each incorrect selection reduces the set of incorrect letters, eventually leaving only the correct answer. .
