Yoté is an african game, played on a 5 by 6 board, with both players starting off with 12 pieces. The object of the game is to capture all of the enemy pieces.
Initially, your pieces are in your hand. When it is your move, you can either place a new piece on the board, move an existing piece, or perform a capture.
- To place a new piece on the board, tap on an empty field.
- To move a piece, drag it (horizontally or vertically) to a neighboring field.
- An emeny piece can be captured by jumping over it (horizontally or vertically). After a capture you may select a second enemy piece to remove from the board as well.
It may look easier than chess or checkers, but Yoté-wise contains a strong AI engine that will really challenge you..
Good luck (you will need it...)
