Did you just get another $50 parking ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street in Elgin, Illinois? Don't let it happen again!

We all have many things on our minds, and among all the cares of the day it can be easy to calculate this incorrectly. Depending on the time you are arriving at your Elgin home you may need to consider today's date, or perhaps tomorrow's date. And remember--just because today's date is odd does not mean tomorrow's is even! (Consider the 31st day of a month, which is followed by the 1st day of the subsequent month.)

In 2009 the Elgin City Council instituted the Odd / Even Parking Program seasonally in many parts of the city. On May 13th, 2009, the City Council extended the program to year-round in Gifford/Summit Park and a portion of the Southwest Area Neighborhood.
