'Min-U Guide Nikon D5000 - Reference' v2.1 plugs you straight into the menus and provides quick and easy camera references for the Nikon® D5000 DSLR with dozens of explanations and diagrams covering over one hundred menus for camera controls and shooting options.

Min-U Guides are the original Nikon DSLR iPhone/touch app guides. No fluff.

You are freed from endlessly finding or bookmarking details on D5000 menu usage that are perhaps online but never before created specifically for iPhone/iPod touch. Navigate quickly and directly to the menu in question and find out when/where/why you should or shouldn't use various options.

'Min-U Guide Nikon D5000 v2.1' also includes a handy list of 'D5000 Quick Specs', improved navigation, including copy/paste, scrolling detail contents etc; added more D5000 button and control related diagrams/graphics as part of the guide & graphic gallery, glossaries, troubleshooting, using the built-in flash, error messages, supported standards and a short product preview on some of the new Nikons introduced in 2009.

With 'Min-U Guide Nikon D5000 v2.1' you can spend your time shooting more amazing digital images instead of carrying and digging through lengthy reference materials. D5000 v2.1 is organized in the same manner as the actual D5000 camera control menus, meaning that while you use it you also learn more about using your D5000.

Sorry, but if you are looking for a bedside, slow read, how-to ebook for beginners, or even something that attempts to teach newbies how to be better weekend wedding photographers, please look elsewhere...your local bookstores most likely have more than enough of that type of traditional resource :).

Please note: Even though the emphasis with this series of 'Min-U Guides' in on 'MENUS', there are more than ten graphics in the updated guide, all designed to help work the controls along with the menus. The D5000 is thankfully not as complicated as other models and requires less support in that regard. The primary example image below is a reduced montage with some of the individual graphics available throughout the guide and as part of the entire 'D5000 Diagram/Image Gallery' in the 'MORE' section.
