Run Router is an innovative application that allows you to draw your running route on a map and set your goal time. The application will speak your distances reached as you run. Plus, starting after your first mile, you will hear your average pace, interval pace (1 mile running average), and the remaining required pace to meet your goal. Plus, you will hear buzzes and chimes indicating if you are on or off pace. The application EVEN works with the iPod Touch since it uses both the iPod Touch's WIFI-based location awareness along with your drawn route to determine a more accurate location along with your pace and distance.
Simply follow these three steps:
Step 1: Set Your Goal Distance and Time.
Step 2: Draw, name, and select your course.
Step 3: Run!
* For iPod touch, please note that the course should remain within an approximate 3 mile radius of the location automatically determined in the built-in map application. Also, the app assumes that you have access to a wifi internet connection for the initial map drawing (prior to the run). If you draw the route back to the starting point, the app will let you repeat the course in the same run. If you do not loop the route back to the starting point, the app assumes an out-and-back course and allows you to repeat in this manner.
