Compass for all - iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPhone 3G users now have a compass to use on their next adventure in addition to iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPad users
Night Light serves as an excellent guide wherever the world may take you. The combination of a compass and flashlight make Night Light invaluable during any sort of outdoor activitie.
Night Light is optimized for the iPhone 4, using the camera light as a flashlight to provide a bright flashlight to lead the way, while you look at the compass to make sure you are on the right track. The camera light is also very handy for reading maps and other navigation equipment to make sure you get home safely.
*Hi-Res iPhone 4 Graphics
*Compass functionality for all iOS devices with or without a compass via sun position
*Sunrise/Solar Noon/Sunset calculator
*Moon Phase and Lunar Illumination
*Sun position tracking
*Does not require Internet.
*Does not require active GPS
*Night Light stores your last known location and will be able to calculate sun position anywhere you travel (errors occur if you travel farther than 75 miles from that location)
Night Light calculates useful facts about the sun and its position at the current time and location, including the suns current altitude and direction giving compass functionality to users without a compass via sun position. Just orient your device so the sun in Night light corresponds with the sun in the sky, no compass required.
Night Light also works on all other iOS 4.0 devices, using whatever features that device might have. On devices without a camera light, Night Light uses the screen to present a white light that can be used as a flashlight. On devices without a compass, Night Light allows the user to use the sun position to determine direction.
Night Light - More than just a flashlight
Please Note: Continued use of flash may dramatically decrease battery life.
