You have been looking for a feature that reminds you of your appointments not only once, but offers you the opportunity to push this reminder individually (eg. 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 1 hour, ...) because at the moment you do not have time or the date is delayed? And the whole thing without going into the calendar and change the date yourself? Then CalMinder is the right app for you!
Is this simple:
1. Continue managing events with the Apple calendar, for example, via iTunes sync with Outlook (or with miCal)
2. Open CalMinder and wait until the spinning wheel stops
3. You will always be reminded at registered appointments
+ No manual changes to the calendar more
+ No effect on your appointments in your calendar (CalMinder don´t change this)
+ Multiple moving of reminders is possible with different time intervals
✔ Date view in the app (screenshot 1)
Display of date list of the next 7 days; sorted by date
✔ Edit and create new events in the app (screenshot 3)
You can edit and add new events by clicking the +-symbol.
✔ Event registration
When opening the app CalMinder takes your appointments from your calendar and registers reminders. Then a spinning wheel appears.
Don´t close the app if this still can be seen. If you do anyway, you just open it again, and CalMinder goes on.
✔ Blue reminder box with "Move" and "Close" button (screenshot 4)
If you press MOVE (Screenshot 5):
► The Move/End-window opens and you can
a) finally close the reminder or
b) select a time period (eg 15 minutes), at whose end you want to be reminded again. If your time is not listed, you can also type your own.
If you press CLOSE (perfect if you don´t want to be disturbed):
► The number of open reminders is in the red circle from the CalMinder app icon
► If you open the app, you can move the open reminders or close it (from the then-current time)
✔ Turn off all reminders
You have the option to turn off all reminders at once - a handy feature, such in your holiday, if you want to forget all events at first.
✔ Offline help
+ For new or changed events in the calendar, you must open CalMinder again, so the reminders are active.
