The IBM Sterling Store Associate Mobile application enables store associates to serve the customer from anywhere in the store via a mobile device.
Store associates are a key touch point to the customer while in the store. Invariably, the customer will ask the store associate a question about the product or the availability of the product. The Sterling Store Associate Mobile application equips store associates with an application on their mobile device that provides information to enable them to answer the customer’s questions on the spot. The application provides a sales associate with information on product content and inventory availability from their mobile device.
•Find items faster with quick lookup by ID or partial description
•Assist customers with full item details, pictures and price including ability to drill down into product details, specifications, related items, and available promotions.
•Find item availability at nearby stores
•Zoom in and out of selected stores
•Email a store to hold an item for the customer
•Email customer confirming that the item is available and waiting for them to pick up
•Place a customer order including registering customer details and taking payment.
•In order pick screen you can touch the order list cell to start picking the order (applicable to iOS6 and iOS7).
This application requires you to be a registered mobile application user in Sterling Order Management and Sterling Store version 8.5 or later. Please contact your system administrator or IT department to check if your company is operating this version of Sterling Order Management and to request to become a registered mobile application user.
