The Lift Surveyor has been developed for the professional lift industry. It incorporates the functionality of the iPhone,iPad or iPod touch to enable the user to bring together the on site survey of lifts/elevators with the ability to convert the survey information into simple to use and interpretable tables that export from the app to a standard Microsoft Word document.
With the additional function that all photos taken from the device can be attached at site to be sent with the electronic completed survey.
The simple to use layout has been designed to enable the user to complete the survey from each area of the lift i.e. machine room, car top, landing, car, pit etc… with a modernisation or replacement in mind and where applicable each area has incorporated EN81-80 items. The output tables come over in five separate areas
Survey Control allows areas to be switched off so that you will only receive information from the areas that you wish to review. Any items not completed within the survey will not be include in the output. This saves the user having to search through empty lines to find the relevant information.
One of the functions within the app is the ability to set up a template (templates are any saved site and can be set up first before going to site). When starting a new site survey the user will be asked new site, or work from a template. This function gives the ability to customise Lift Surveyor to suit individual Companies own survey forms, within an easy to use portable format.
The ability to measure the speed of each lift surveyed has been incorporated into Lift Surveyor by a simple touch of a button, run the lift from ground to the top and you have the lift speed stored, this enables you to check the actual over rated speed without the need of other equipment.
The Lift Surveyor has been developed to enhance and speed up the surveying and reporting of existing lifts. The outputs can easily be used for any lift engineer that has a need to survey lifts for any reason from reports, quotes or pricing. It can even be used as a sales tool for your existing sales team.
