Total Recall Mandarin combines the power of pictures, speech and repetition to accelerate language learning. Learning a foreign language should be easy, fun and instinctive and the Total Recall method achieves all this and more...
It can be used by anybody, regardless of their first language, to learn Mandarin since The Total Recall method draws on repetitive and pictorial learning techniques to ensure that the expressions and words it covers are committed to long-term memory.
How it Works
Each module is based around a core set of words and phrases and starts off displaying a single picture for each spoken and written Mandarin phrase or word. Modules combine the written and oral enabling students to gain the ability to read and write in a foreign language rather than a simple passive understanding. Modules gradually build in complexity to display multiple images. Students must match the right picture to the foreign word they see and hear in a form of visual multiple choice. The final stage uses the initial set of words to build plurals, verbs or related phrases in the foreign language. This enables students to not only consolidate vocabulary to date but also to gain an immersion in the grammar and a strong understanding of sentence and word formulation.
