The TOEFL iBT test is one of the most challenging English proficiency tests required for entry to many universities and colleges all over the world.
This app has been designed to help students prepare for the challenges of this test. In particular, this app helps test takers develop confidence in three key areas: advanced English proficiency; academic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills; as well as other academic skills such as, for example, note-taking.
The app consists of 10 audio lectures, 500 multiple-choice questions, and 300 flashcards.
This application has been developed by Patricia Glogowski, an English as a Foreign Language and technology specialist. Patricia Glogowski has been preparing non-native speakers to pass English proficiency tests for over a decade.
Patricia holds a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics and a TESOL Certificate from the University of Toronto. She has been teaching English for Academic Purposes courses at various universities and colleges in Canada for over 10 years. She believes that every student can pass the TOEFL iBT test with a high score as long as they take the time to prepare. She has designed this TOEFL iBT app to help test takers understand what to expect and to become confident.
