Wonder where are the 14 AES cameras that have been installed and 817 more that will be installed?

AES (Automated Enforcement System) began its operation on Sept 23, with pilot phase of 14 cameras installed on identified "blackspots". There are 817 more cameras to be deployed in the coming phases.

This app is developed by the team at Espressoft Systems with the purpose to create public awareness of the AES camera locations nationwide.

V1.1 of the AES Malaysia app featured the following functions:

★ The app contains not only the 14 live cameras in the pilot phase, but also the full listing of 831 cameras published by JPJ.

★ The database will auto sync with the latest list published from JPJ.

★ Nearby - show nearby AES camera locations within a user defined radius. Result is plotted in map or listing format.

★ Tracking mode - tracking mode button on the Nearby page, when activated (red), will follow your location as you drive.

★ Sound Alert mode - when an AES camera is within the range you specified (eg 500meter), an audible voice will alert you. (Note: you need to enable tracking mode first)

★ The speed limit is shown directly on the Map's pin for easier reference.

★ States - show full listing of all AES camera locations, fully searchable by location and state.

★ The app defaults to showing only live and active camera locations, to show all the 813 camera locations, please tick the checkbox in the settings page.
