Data recovery

If you have accidentally deleted imported files or lost something due to a virus or a system error, the EaseUS software is for you. There are many recovery software on the market, but only a handful of them are truly reliable. EaseUS is the best of them based on my small research.

.
Data Recovery Wizard

 .

Most programs are provided in free and paid versions, as well as EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. The program exists in different versions: Free, Pro and Pro + WinPE. For the purpose of the review we used the free version which, unlike the Pro version, has some limitations but we start immediately with the analysis of the software.
.
The EaseUS software has a very simple interface which is divided into a first interface to select the unit to be analyzed and a second interface where the scan will take place. At the start of the program the different universities connected to the PC will be detected, giving the possibility to choose which unit to analyze. The scan consists of two types: quick scan and deep scan.
.
Quick scanning examines the surface areas of the unit, detecting commonly used files that may have been lost by emptying the trash or in some crashes. This kind of scan takes little time to show the results even if it does not show all the recoverable files.
.

The deep scan has a longer duration but on the other hand allows to detect a larger quantity of files and different areas. This scan should also include data lost during deletion of a partition or during formatting.
.
During the scans you can filter the type of file to search by choosing between: Images, Audio, Documents, Video, Email and more. If a filter is not applied, the search is, by default, set to all file types. With the free version you can recover up to 500MB with the ability to raise the limit up to 2GB by sharing a link your social media.

Technical trial
.
I performed two tests: one on an internal SSD and one on an external HDD connected via USB 2.0. The quick scan lasted little on both media, providing the ability to fully recover the data from the trash. While the deep scan lasted 20 minutes on SSD (250GB) and 50 minutes on HDD (250GB).
.
Data recovery, through the use of the Free Data Recovery Tool, was successful, giving excellent results both for files deleted voluntarily and for those lost due to a crash. One of the positives of the software is, of course, the possibility of being able to examine the recoverable data even while the deep scan is not over yet, but warning that the recovery could be partial until it is completely finished.
.
After selecting the files, simply press the "retrieve" button by selecting the folder to collect the recovered data. The limit of 500MB + 2GB can be tight, but for those who only need to retrieve important documents or work data, you can easily re-enter it. To overcome this limit it will be enough to buy the Pro type license which also includes: free lifetime technical support and automatic updates.

Conclusions
.
EaseUS Recovery Wizard is very simple tool to recover deleted files. It’s suitable even for those who are not too familiar with this kind of software. The simplified interface and the presence of an introductory guide allow a fluid use. The EaseUS software, as well as for Windows, also exists for Android, iOS and Mac. If you feel comfortable with the free version, I recommend the upgrade to the PRO version.
