iPhone 5S having blue screens of death

Apple used to make fun of Windows for the BSOD (blue screens of death) but now it seems the issue is affecting Apple's latest premium iPhone, the 5S. Users are reporting their screen going fully blue and then randomly rebooting. The issue seems to only be affecting the 5S at this point. It’s largely caused by the new iWork apps that Apple is offering free to new iOS devices. It’s also occurring when users multitask between apps and could happen at any point.

This issue has been reported to Apple already and officials have yet to give a statement about it. We’ll hopefully see a fix in the next few days, since this is a highly embarrassing bug for one of Apple's most important products. There have already been issues with the 5S, including a report showing that apps are crashing twice as often on the device as on the iPhone 5 & 5C. The new 64-bit processor might be causing a few issues and of course developers haven’t really had much time to update their apps, especially when getting their hands on one isn’t easy.
