Traffic from iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 remains constant ahead of WWDC

AppleInsider staff have been tracking visits to their website, and looked at visits from the unreleased iOS 8 and OS X 10.10. They’ve found that in the past month the levels of traffic has remained somewhat constant, so it looks like Apple hasn’t yet entered “crunch time” ahead of WWDC.

They also broke down the data into days, and found that OS X 10.10 visits dropped sharply at the weekend, indicating that those using OS X 10.10 are only using it on their work computers. Meanwhile, iOS 8 traffic seemed more constant, suggesting that those working on it had it on their personal devices. Alternatively, those working on iOS 8 might already be in crunch time and are therefore working on the project throughout the weekend whilst OS X 10.10 might be a smaller update and therefore not need much crunch time.

Apple is expected to announce both iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 at the upcoming WWDC on June 2nd. They stated that they’d be showing off the "latest advances in iOS and OS X," but didn’t state if we’d see full point zero updates (the most significant ones).
