Eva Longoria: Apple employees used my personal information

Eva Longoria is reporting her privacy was invaded when employees of Apple used her personal info in order to make contact with her. Longoria says her photos weren’t hacked, like some other celebrities’, but her Mac email was obtained by employees who have access to that information. For example, Longoria said one staff member emailed her and said “I made a dress and I want to send it to you. I work at the Apple Store here in San Antonio.” Others have actually called her at home, having gotten the information from her personal profile only an employee would be able to access. Some have called and said “I saw your phone number from your profile, I just wanted to call and say ‘hi, I’m a fan.’”

Ms Longoria made these allegations on an appearance on Access Hollywood, and accused, in particular, the workers at one of the Apple Store’s Texas locations of contacting her after “secretly” getting her contact information. According to the Desperate Housewives star, there are a lot of privacy issues, especially when you're famous.

Apple has not responded to Access Hollywood’s questions regarding these allegations.
