Following complaints, Apple releases special instructions to delete U2 album

Many people aren’t happy about the free U2 album and they are being very vocal. They’re unhappy that the “Songs of Innocence” album was released onto their collection with no warning. Tim Cook announced that the new album would be given to iTunes users; for some of them, the album showed up without them even tuning in. U2 played at the September 9 Apple announcement, and the band’s new album, “Songs of Innocence,” was automatically added to everyone’s iTunes. If you don’t want the album, right click and delete. If you do want it, then keep it. As of Tuesday approximately 33 million people had accessed the free album.
