Use the Apple Watch to track your sleep patterns

The Apple Watch’s battery will last between eight and 12 hours; it will need charging every night. Some people think that means you won’t be able to use it to track sleeping patterns. this isn’t necessarily true, though, since you can still use some great apps even if it isn’t on your wrist. An app called Sleep Cycle will help you track your sleep. Put your iPhone into airplane mode, connect it to the charger, and launch the Sleep Cycle app. The accelerometer will track movement on your bed and will guess if you’re sleeping, dreaming, or awake. If you’re wondering what this has to do with the Apple Watch, here’s the thing: you’ll be able to do the same thing with it as you can with your iPhone.

Right now, Sleep Cycle isn’t compatible with HealthKit, but as soon as it is, you will be able to use it to track your sleep patterns just as easily with your Apple Watch as you can with your iPhone.
