Anyone with iOS 8 will see a lot of similarity to OS X Yosemite, which is the latest iteration of the operating system for Mac computers. It was made available as a free download starting Thursday, and offers several new features that will make Mac computers able to act more like iPhones. First off, there will be the ability to move between iPhone and Mac without interruption. Just click the icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and you can continue. If you started it on your iPad, for example, you’ll it automatically on your Mac. The web browser app, Safari, will open to the same page that was viewed last on the other device. Another great features is the ability to make voice calls to anyone using Yosemite. It will connect wirelessly to your phone to make the call, as long as it’s in the same network. Want to make a call but your phone is plugged in and charging? No problem. There are plenty more features, but that’s another article for another day.
