Apple’s 8.1.1 came out but according to Gordon Kelly, the updates seems “incremental.” he release includes bug fixes, performance and stability improvements, and more. According to Apple, this patch will fix all the battery life, WiFi, and Bluetooth problems with iOS 8. It will also help all the older devices, like iPad 2 and iPhone 4S come back to life with the new iOS.
According to some review sites, the update didn't actually do what it set out to do. People are still having issues since updating. The main thing to realize is that although the update doesn’t solve all the problems, the next one could.
