Apple's iPhone sales increase in China, Japan and South Korea

It appears that the larger screen size for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is a hit overseas. According to a report by TheVerge.com, sales in South Korea, China and Japan are at an all-time high for iPhone sales. This is a gut shot to Samsung, Apple's biggest rival. South Korea is Samsung's home market and Apple's increase in sales sends a direct shot at the global powerhouse.

Apple claimed 33% last November which is double what they did before, while Samsung fell from 60 to 46%. Apple's closing of the gap is huge news and a boost to International success. In fact, this is the first time any foreign company has taken more than 20% of the South Korean market.

Apple and Samsung have spent the last few years in a vicious head to head battle both in the consumer market and in court. These two companies have developed a rivalry of sorts, which has greatly benefited the consumers. From America to South Korea, their feud has made headlines across the globe. Apple is also seeing increased success in both Japan and China unlike ever before. It looks like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is a huge hit for Apple.
