The latest rumors over the battery life of the upcoming Apple Watch look promising. According to a report by MacRumors.com, Apple is looking to have 19 hours of battery life for the Apple Watch. However, this is for mixed usage. Additionally, Apple was reportedly looking for at least 2.3 hours of active usage and three to four days of standby or sleep modes.
There's no getting around the fact that users will have to charge the watch once per day. However, the longer the battery life the less amount of times you have to charge it. Some critics are concerned that users will have to charge the watch multiple times per day. So, these latest rumors help to alleviate some of these concerns.
Apple is banking on the fact that Watch customers won't play games and use apps for several hours on end. And with all of the other iDevices that customers typically have, it's probably a smart strategy by Apple.
The Apple Watch is expected to be released in the Spring. Entry level watches will run $349.
