A larger new Apple Store will open in the space below Nordstrom at Pacific Centre in Vancouver. It should open this fall. The current Apple Store at the mall is approximately 5,400 square feet and it sold more than $75 million last year, which means it’s one of the productive Apple Stores in the whole company. Considering the number of shoppers and the sales that the store attracts, there is definitely a need for more space in downtown Vancouver.
According to a report by VANCITY BUZZ, he new store will be accessed by both inside the Pacific Centre as well as from a new street entrance that will lead to an escalator downstairs. Other prominent brands are expected to take up residence in the space below Nordstrom, like Weekend by Max Mara.
Sources say Apple has also been in talks with some Toronto landlords for a possible new flagship store. Possibilities there are at the Toronto Eaton Centre and at 1 Bloor Street East.
