Samsung put out its latest model of the Galaxy S smartphone. It’s slim and made from metal; its curved edges make the S6 suitable for the “Project Zero” namesake. Samsung shares went the highest they’ve ever been in nine months, on Monday. Some tech writers said it was the best looking of all of the Samsung devices. Shares closed 4.9 percent higher. According to the mobile chief, “We listen to our customers and we learn from our missteps.” The new Galaxy phones go on sale on April 10 in 20 countries. Features of the phone include a light-weight aircraft aluminum, Gorilla Glass in the front and back, screen and camera upgrades, and a smaller amount of in-house apps. The S6 will have 14-nanometer Exynos processors and the batteries won’t be replaceable. They will support wireless charging and will be able to get four hours of power with a 10-minute corded charge.
