Apple working to catch up to Watch demand

Despite the fact that Apple is already sold out of the Apple Watch, the company is working to make sure there are enough to fill orders by the end of June. The company was expecting to sell a lot of units, but no one knew for sure how well sales would do. It’s the first new device in five years, and the enthusiasm for the device far outstripped what was available. Sales of the Apple Watch have gone to bump the shares for Q2 up to an all-time high. It’s estimated that Apple might sell over 13 million Apple Watch units this year, even though they can only be ordered online at the moment.

Almost two million Apple Watches were sold but only 376,000 were delivered this weekend, according to Slice Intelligence, which also guessed that 547,000 would be shipped by June 11.
