According to a report by Financial Post, it looks like customers have plenty to get excited about when it comes to the iMac and MacBook Pro laptop line, even before WWDC 2015. The announcement comes weeks ahead of when most were expecting it to happen as Apple described its iMac with 5K high-resolution display on a 27 inch screen and an all-new version of the 15 inch MacBook Pro.
The desktop iMac will ring in at about $2,399 and is meant to act as a replacement to the non-Retina iMac. On the low end the new iMac will have a Radeon R9 M290 graphics card, 5K Retina display, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB of internal storage, and 3.3 Ghz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor. Meanwhile the 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop line is getting a bit of an overhaul itself. This laptop comes in at about $2,449 and will now offer faster flash SSD storage, a haptic feedback trackpad, and increased battery life so it now lasts around nine hours on a full charge. The trackpad technology closely resembles the technology used in the new Apple Watch.
