Apple Music will launch tomorrow and people in the know realize that if the new music service doesn’t do well out of the gate, it never will. The big brouhaha last week over Taylor Swift’s request that Apple pay artists during the three-month free trial period passed, now the company is moving into the launch week for a brand-new service. As everyone knows, though, product launches are of the utmost importance when it comes to how a product will perform, sales-wise. A large, well-known company like Apple doesn’t have as much leeway as a smaller startup like Twitter, back in the day. Examples of product launch failures include Google with Google Glass, Twitter Music, and Microsoft Zune.
