Prince has decided that he will most definitely not permit his music on streaming services. He is removing his music catalog from “all streaming services.” This is according to a report by Spotify that says the notice appeared on Wednesday. His music has also been removed from Rdio and Apple Music, which launched earlier this week. As of this morning, his music was still steaming on Tidal, Google Play, and Pandora.
According to the Spotify, “Prince’s publisher has asked all streaming services to remove his catalog. We have cooperated with the request, and hope to bring his music back as soon as possible.”
