Rapper recorded an album at NYC Apple Store

For four months, a New York rapper who calls himself Prince Harvey showed up at Apple’s SoHo store, five days a week. While there, he used the store’s demo computers to record his full-length album. According to a report by Apple Insider, the Dominican rap artist had one computer stole and one that broke down, so he had no choice but to use Apple’s store computers. He says there were two store employees who helped him get the time he needed. As for how he got the data out, he would email files to himself, save to a USB drive, or put them into the OS X trash, knowing that the trash isn’t emptied every night.

The store location is well known for being a place for artists to go; in fact, several all-out concerts have been hosted there included Linkin Park and Maroon 5.
