iPhone 5C parts in blue

We’re starting to see a lot of pictures leak of the upcoming iPhone 5C and the latest one shows how the device will look in blue. Just a few days ago we got to see how a yellow model looks and we’ve seen several images of the white model now.

Thanks to all these rumors we know a lot about the device - it’ll be launched on the 10th of September alongside the iPhone 5S. It’ll look at lot like iPhone 5 although it’ll have a plastic shell in several different colors.

The blue shell image comes from Tactus, which has been involved with several other images of 5C parts before. Those sources are saying that the device will launch in white, black, red, yellow, blue, and green. Interestingly there’s no pink option despite the iPod touch selling in pink.

The iPhone 5C is expected to sell well in developing markets where the iPhone 5 has been too expensive. It’ll likely be around $350 to $400 which makes it competitive with mid- to high-end Android smartphones. Given that older versions of the iPhone like the 4 are still selling well, it’s clear that people want a cheap iPhone. It’ll please investors who’ve often expressed concern over Apple’s limited range of iPhones and inability to sell in developing markets.
