Apple announces September 10th media-event

Apple sent out invitations on Tuesday for the next media event. It’s going to be on the 10th of September as rumors suggested and we’ll probably see the next range of iPhones. The tagline is “This should brighten everyone’s day,” hinting at the idea of a colorful iPhone (the 5C, highly rumored). The invitation shows yellow, green, orange, white, red, pink, and various shades of blue in circles, again suggesting we’ll see a colorful new iPhone.

So what will probably be announced? The iPhone 5S is practically guaranteed since Apple updates the iPhone yearly and the iPhone 5 is nearly a year old now. This model is rumored to include a fingerprint sensor which could make the device more secure than competitors (although we’re starting to hear about the Note 3 having a fingerprint sensor as well). It’ll probably keep the same design as the iPhone 5 since S models have always done that.

We’ll also hear about the general public release of iOS 7 which will have a whole new redesign. It’s been in beta for several months now and developers should have their app updates ready to fit the new design. It’ll also include iTunes Radio and a better version of Siri.
