Apple is holding its media event tomorrow and so some colorful banners have started going up around the company’s Cupertino headquarters. This isn’t a common location for Apple to hold the media event: it was last used in the fall of 2011 for the 4S. Maybe Apple will use it for the S releases while holding the larger major refreshes elsewhere. Town Hall is an auditorium on the Apple campus.
The colorful banners and the invite are thought to be hinting at the iPhone 5C and its various color choices. We obviously don’t know exactly what we’ll see until the actual event (at 10 a.m. PST). We’ll be covering the announcements on Tuesday.
So far we expect to see an iPhone 5S with a fingerprint sensor, similar design to iPhone 5 and slightly faster internals. There will also be the iPhone 5C, arguably more exciting - it’ll be the first iPhone that will be available at launch for a reasonable price unsubsidized.
