Penultimate review

The iPad is really made ideally for writing. However, only a few apps get to realize the true potential of this device. Not only does writing on a tablet feel slightly off because, let’s face it, it’s simply not natural to “write” something on a plastic device, most of the mechanics used by some apps for this purpose are just wonky. Penultimate, thankfully, does not display any of the above tendencies. The app is simply intuitive in the best sense of that word. So, not only does it “simulate” your writing very well, you also have the option of linking it back to your Evernote account so as to make sure that you won’t have to backtrack to recover any erased notes when the time comes!
