Wallz - Wallpapers HD for iOS 7 & iOS 6, iPhone and iPod app review

Wallz It's amazing what a new coat of paint does for your walls, the feel of your room, even the way it effects your own feelings. Warmer, newer, fresher, more exciting. You just feel better. You look at things in a new light. Changing the the feeling you get in using youriPod, iPhone or even your iPad can be done as simply as changing the color or art on your "wallz". It's not a typo, that is how you spell the app that can make it happen for you. Beautiful retina photos in an array of categories ready for you to download. Check out the most recent additions or search by your own personal taste. From simple graphics to splendid panoramic shots, you can get them all here. If you don't like photos, then they have textures. If you prefer patterns, they have that too. Would you feel better reading a quote or inspirational phrase every time you turn on and look at your Apple device, they got you covered. A few things though. It is a little glitchy at times. Sometimes it shuts off in the middle of searching and viewing, so you have to start from the beginning again; this is annoying. Also, on my second day of use, nothing appears for me to choose, just a blank screen, no wallpaper selections, not even a category menu. I don't know if this just the tweeting it, (I didn't see a new update today) or if this is a network issue. It was back on 6 hours later, everything working fine. They also have their competition. Long runner, Zedge is a great app for wallpaper and ringtones. In comparing them though, Wallz has more photos and patterns and textures etc then Zedge. (Although some are the same images) For instance, I typed the search for cars. Zedge came up with 53 photos. Wallz had significantly more to choose from (I stopped counting at 200). More choices is better when trying to come up with your individual style for the week, day or hour even. Also, the thumbnail shots are larger then Zedge which makes it nice on the smaller devices like iPod, iPhone 4s or even the 5. Zedge is totally free with ads. Wallz is free with ads but you can turn off the ads on Wallz for only 99 cents. You could type in a search on your web browser and copy an image to your device, but Wallz makes it so much easier with the variety that satisfies. Like it, push a button and it's yours. Now go change your color and feel your way with Wallz.
