Earn to Die app review

If you think zombies are already… err, “dead” this year, then you clearly have no idea how pop culture works. In this current calendar year which sees other game developers “reinventing” the zombie mythos like Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, Not Doppler’s Earn to Die reminds us that despite all the changes on the genre, one thing is still constant: unconscious, possibly dead beings, are after your brain, and showing no remorse in mowing them down is still par for the course.

This time around, you drive a schoolbus—endless-runner style—within an endless expanse of desert terrain with a horde of zombies right in front of you. Of course you have to drive through them, and yes, you will have weapons to help make it all a PG-friendly, gory affair. But isn’t that what we’ve always wanted from our zombie games, anyway?
