This is a wonderful book that will teach you and your children all about the different sounds that are made by various species of frog, complete with high-quality audio narration and some wonderful illustrations which are sure to capture your children’s hearts and keep them attentive for some time.

I think this is a great idea for a book that will appeal to lots of different kids.

There are a few different sections besides the main book itself, and I especially like the How They Really Sound section which features real audio recordings of the frogs in question so you can find out, well, how they really sound!

The home screen of this app offers you the option of either reading the book by yourself or selecting Read To Me so that you can listen to the audio narration. The narrator does a great job of humorously impersonating the various types of frogs he talks about and I think this should be very amusing for young children.

While you go through the story, be sure to tap the frogs and toads on each page as some of the pages are illustrated and will respond based on whereabouts you touch the screen.

Tapping the frog icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen will bring up a menu which allows you access other sections of the app such as How They Really Sound, Matching Game, and some information about the author and development team.

How They Really Sound is very interesting as it contains real sound bites of frogs and toads so you can listen to peepers peeping, green frogs plunking, and toads trilling.

Once you feel like you’ve become a true expert of frog songs you can play the Matching Game which involves dragging sound waves to the correct frog to determine which ones make which sounds.

All in all, I’m really impressed with what the development team has managed to pull together with Noisy Frog Sing-Along because it’s a wonderfully original concept which is presented in a fun and friendly way which makes it very approachable for children of all age groups.

Final Words

Giving kids the chance to learn about new subjects is obviously always a good idea, and as I mentioned, I really like the originality of this book which has clearly been very professionally put together to deliver a polished final product that will enchant both kids and adults alike.
