As mentioned the gameplay here has been designed to be very simple to understand and user-friendly. In order to shoot a duck you just tap the screen. Of course what starts out seeming simple enough, quickly gets very challenging and you are given multiple targets to hit. Once you miss a shot, the game is over and you'll need to start over again.

Your goal here is to finish extreme hunting missions on your way to becoming a master hunter. What's really fun is the fact that you can compete with your friends on your quest to get each and every duck.

The app is rated for those 17 years of age and older to download.You use a gun to shoot the ducks so most parents won't feel it's appropriate for kids.

 

Amp Up The Challenge

If you want to amp up the challenge a little further you may want to check out the in-app purchases available that allows you to purchase additional guns to use on your hunting missions. There is also the ability to remove the ads. While it's fun to get other guns I think the price of these add-ons is extremely steep and not worth it. One gun - the super rifle - costs $29.99. Even to remove the ads is expensive at $4.99. Compared to other apps this seems really over-priced.

I think it’s important to comment on the graphics in this game as they are really extremely well-done. All the images are sharp and realistic, making the game that much more fun. In order to move around your scope you need to tilt the screen. I find the controls are intuitive but maybe a little too sensitive. It’s best to use slow tilting movements or you will find you have little-to-no control. The ducks move across the screen and out of sight relatively fast so this game will test your reflexes.

Final Thoughts

For me the 01 Shooting The Duck Hunter Game app deserves a mediocre review. While it is fun and the graphics are fabulous, there are aspects I don’t like about this game which makes me hesitant to recommend it as a download.
