Over the past year or so, I’ve found myself using more and more Google services such as Gmail, GTalk, and Google Docs. It seems only logical that I would make the jump over to an app such as this, especially seeing as I’ll now be able to call my friends in Canada for free!

Final Words

The developer really has done a great job of providing existing Google and Gmail users with a single one-stop resource and tool for making calls, sending text messages, and managing contacts in a largely free service.

PHONE for Google Voice & GTalk is far from being a bundle of nicely packaged promises.

The call quality is second-to-none, at least on my Internet connection, and the overall quality of the service is so good that I had to double check that it wasn’t Google itself that developed this app!
