The interface is straightforward and easy to use. From the menu you can learn about LSI, launch the LSI tests you have available to you, read about LSI's courses, and find out the locations of their campuses.

Language Tests also utilizes your microphone and headphones, which is essential for learning any language. The voice recognition for words and phrases in the software is incredible. For multiple words I purposely put the inflection on the wrong syllable, or mispronounced the word. Not only did it recognize it, but the software played back the word properly multiple times so I would recognize my mistake.

The tests will judge your skills in grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. After each section you will receive a score which will be added to the overall grade of the entire exam. You can access the overall score at any time by clicking "Test Score" at the bottom of the screen. As the exams become increasingly difficult for each module, it definitely is a head above most of the language education apps on the market.

Although Language Tests is made for students of LSI, the fact that the English test comes with the free app is a benefit to anyone wanting to learn English. My initial thought was how beneficial this app would be for parents.
