Vocabulary and Grammar! is hosted by a character named Boing and his three underwater friends: the Crab, the Clown Fish, and the Octopus. Children will begin each lesson-based game by tapping on which one of Boing's pals you want to play with.

The Vocabulary and Listening Comprehension lessons are single-player and through a series of tap-based games, teach your child the lesson. Vocabulary is done via searching the ocean floor for objects for the Octopus to juggle/ Bingo will name the object and it's your child's duty to find it for the Octopus. Clown Fish's Listening Comprehension works in almost the same manner, as Bingo instructs your child to place objects in specific places around the environment.

The Sentence Formation lessons can be a single or two player game, in which your child is presented with three crabs with different objects painted on their shells. Simply slide the crabs in the order you wish to create a sentence. If you fail you have an infinite amount of time to try to get it right.

The audio and interface for Vocabulary and Grammar! is stellar. Everything is intuitive and fun, and although at first using the small iPhone screen may take a little time, the learning curve is not steep at all. The audio from the background music to the voice acting and sound effects is crystal clear which is essential for this type of app.

 

Earn Items to Use in Other Games in the Series

With each successfully completed level your child will win a series of items to use in any one of the many other educational games featuring Bingo. When your child finishes the level he or she will be whisked away into Bingo's space ship and offered the chance to try these items out on any one of the other worlds he visits. Simply tap any of the world maps in his windshield and after the new game has downloaded your child can now use the items to use new skills in other educational games.
