Pick Your Topic And Away You Go

Regardless if you are a member of the Khan Academy or not, you can utilize their app and have access to well over 4200 videos on everything from K - 12 math, humanities, and too many science topics to list here. There are also the basic lessons in computer sciences included in the Khan Academy instruction.

The layout is extremely simple to navigate; the home page is a list of the various subjects that can be studied. Once you select a subject the next list appears with subcategories ( physics, thermodynamics, biology, and more), and once you focus on a subcategory you will be provided with a list of video lessons in chronological order for you to begin learning.

The quality of the videos are well above average, with no pixelation or buffering issues. The sound quality is clear and precise. Stopping the video mid-stream and picking up your lesson later isn't a problem.

The Khan Academy app will hold your place in the lesson for as long as you like. To reopen the lesson, tap Play and the video will continue from right where you left off.

You can also download and save your videos for offline video if you don't have access to the Internet or if your data plan is running high. Which unlike many apps out there, isn't an option at all.

This last part is for those who are already students of the Khan Academy; for each video you watch you will earn credits towards your Khan Academy course load. This is great for all of you who still want to learn but would rather just stay in bed.
