Access Data From Over 50,000 Weather Stations
The amount of features contained in this app is amazing considering it is available free of charge, and I’m particularly impressed with the quality of the map views.

The map I’m currently looking at displays a nearby weather station which unfortunately is out of action at the moment, but the sheer fact that WindAlert is displaying that is impressive to my mind.
Tapping on the station still provides the most recent data, including a 7-day weather forecast which comes complete with details of temperature, visibility, tidal behavior, and of course, wind speed and direction.
In addition to all of this, and I’m really just scratching the surface of the functionality here, you can also view further Wind Forecasts, weather Briefings, Onsite Reports, and much more. There is even a feature enabling you to activate alerts for severe weather conditions making their way towards your location.
