The SAP Employee Lookup app gives you a way to connect with other employees in your internal network even if you aren't at the office. This is perfect if you travel often for work or spend a lot of time out of the office. Just because you aren’t there in person doesn’t mean you can’t still be in the loop.
Why Use This App
So why would you need to use this app? If you are conducting business outside the office you still need to be able to connect with co-workers in order to get your work done, so the SAP Employee Lookup gives you a quick and simple way to find them. It acts as a directory that you can search and quickly find who you're looking for.
When you find the person you're looking for you can view details that have been included. Of course at any time employees can be added and deleted. You can also set up the app to remember your favorite contacts so the ones you talk to often are always at hand.
Additional Features
This app is meant to make finding employees quick and simple through a user interface that has been designed to be efficient. You will be able to view an organizational chart of your company so that you can browse through that organization to find exactly who you need to contact. Contact information included is an email address and a phone number.
I like what this app sets out to do and I think in general it does a good job. The user interface has been kept simple and basic but this is a good thing because you are able to navigate quickly, which is ideal when you need contact information in a hurry.
In order to use the app you will need to create a log-in but before you do that you can try the tutorial out to see if it’s something that could help you. I think the amount of information displayed on each contact is just the right amount; it would be great if there was a place you could add your own notes in as well.
Users seem mixed on this app. I think as long as you aren’t looking for all kinds of bells and whistles then this app should be adequate.

The SAP Employee Lookup app gives you a quick, easy, and mobile way to find employees in your organization so you can contact them. It acts as a directory of your organization, available to you at all times. It would be nice to see a few more features added here but all in all it’s a solid offering.
