One thing that stands out about this app is the developer's claim that they are able to blow the competition out of the water by offering more features than other scanner apps. So is that true? Well there are an awful lot of features here such as the ability to rewind what was just said if you missed it. How many times have you been listening only to wonder about what you just heard. Simply rewind until you clearly hear it. This app works very much like a TIVO player in that the scanner is always recording. What this means to you is that you can save segments you have heard so you can replay them and listen again.

Other features include voiceover support, and alpha tags support. Alpha tags allow you to be able to determine who is talking during the scanning process. Of course you can also email, edit, tweet, and upload any of the recordings.

This app just keeps on going when it comes to features, but what's important to note is that the free version will give you limited access to the features. The good news is that you can upgrade to the full version for just $1.99 which seems like a real bargain when you consider what you're getting.

I think a downfall is just how addictive it gets! After listening for a little bit you will find it hard to put down as there is always something happening that is capturing your interest. If you find one feed is a bit dry and dull, switch to another town/location and see what’s happening there. There is no shortage of entertainment value here.

There are some user comments here that state that the app didn’t work for them, I had an opposite experience and had no problem listening to a variety of locations.
