It's meant to be a scaled-down version of a GPS directional app. It's incredibly user-friendly so that you can quickly set up your location and then follow along from there. You'll be given the magnetic heading and the target heading.

Using the App

It’s hard to find many reviews on this app as it is still relatively new, and I am curious to see if other users share the same experience as me. I have read what the developer has to say, I understand this is supposed to be simple and quick to use yet I find myself utterly confused with what to do with it. There are no instructions, I am unable to move from screen to screen as there is no back button, the ads get in the way quite a bit, and it couldn’t even do the basic job of finding my exact location. I find it very hard to get on board with any of the points the developer has boasted about because I am less than impressed with it.

I don’t think an app like this needs to be filled with features and tools in order to get a high score but it does need to at least achieve what it sets out to do in a user-friendly manner. Unfortunately it doesn’t succeed in any of this.

The Target Compass app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone unfortunately fails to deliver and definitely needs some more polishing and maybe some more streamlining.
