Best iPhone Apps For Keeping Organized

Reviews

Keeping yourself organized can be challenging (to say the least) with so many gadgets  to play around with, or just with keeping up with everyday life. Fortunately, there are a few handy apps for your smartphone or tablet that you can use to diarize and plan your day.
Best iPhone Apps For Keeping OrganizedAir Sharing for iPhone & iPod Touch Price: $6.99 This app works like Dropbox, but currently it provides no free option. It lets you save PDFs, photos, word docs, and more to your Airsharing account or other remote file servers such as Google docs, Block.net, Storegate, or even Dropbox. So the major advantage this app provides is that offers multiple ways of storing and sharing information wirelessly. It is specially built for the iPhone and iPod Touch but does work on most cross-platform smartphones. The one advantage it has over free accounts like Dropbox or Google Docs is that the upload speed is much faster. DropBox, for example, can take forever uploading a 20mb movie that you want to share with family and friends, so paying a one off-fee will give you better upload speed.
Best iPhone Apps For Keeping OrganizedSimplenote Price: Free If you want to jot down some notes on the fly and have them effortlessly sync with your PC so when you log in to Simplenote, all your day's and week's notes have been transferred – this free app is your answer. Actually, it’s a vast improvement over Apples own built-in Apple Notes which is why many thousands of users have switched. Occasionally the app might freeze depending if your iPhone is getting heavy usage, so write in a word or notepad doc that you can save as you type. Copy and paste to Simplenote to avoid losing data. There are ads but they feature at the top of the screen so they aren’t obtrusive. There is no on-page search function so you will have to use the iPhone's “Find” tool.
Best iPhone Apps For Keeping OrganizedPenultimate Price: $0.99 Do you get fed up with having to touch type notes with your fat finger or mini little display keypad on your iPhone, often taking forever to get the sentence you need? Well Penultimate is one of the few note taking apps that lets you “write” with your hand as you would do on paper. There are additional in-app purchases required for the same cost if you would like to customize your notepad, i.e have different calendar templates, write on music paper or create special photo journals. It is also great for attaching photos and scribbling beside them like a scrapbook. Its pros are that the ink is vivid and crisp, you can export data easily to a PDF, it is probably the best and cheapest app of its kind, and it is an easy way to organize notebooks and scrapbooks. Its cons are that there is no zoom feature which makes reading on the iPhone very difficult. There is no drawing tool, and there are only a few ink colors from which to choose.

Notability Price: $0.99 If the cons for the Penultimate app turn you off then Notability should provide you with the ultimate handwriting list-making tool for organizing your diary. In fact it does a whole lot more, but essentially as an app for keeping organized, you can handwrite your list of to-do notes, add audio notes to each caption, and add images like maps or graphs, which you can edit or swap with a clip. You can also move and change data on the page easily without for example color pasting pixels over script to delete it - this app is very versatile. At the time of writing it was 80% cheaper than its previous mark-up price. The retina display is stunning. It's worth reading user reviews to get a real feel for what it can do.
