The design flow is stunning and the display screen reminds you of something futuristic or at least avant garde and will complement the iPhone beautifully. You have 64 different drum kit models to pick, of which 19 are vintage and 45 electronic. There are five main parts to this app. The first section is where you get to create your own step sequence, by turning the sequencer on and off by tapping with your finger tip. Second, you have the drum pads where you just create your own beat. Then you have the mixer which obviously lets you set the pitch, volume, and length of each sound, so you can customize each element for each channel.

And finally the song composer allows you to drag and drop tracks and beats created into a timeline. For under a dollar, it’s safe to say that if user reviews build up this apps rep, then the price will no doubt increase. That said, some of the reviews listed suggest it is having a few teething problems right now. The problem seems to be copying songs using the audio copy routine (ACR) in LM1. At first before the recent fix it truncated the first beat rendering all looped patterns impossible to export. A fix was made, meaning the pattern can now be looped to a different application, but by adding a 16th note to the audio file which it originally cut short, the 1st note sounds like a dropout. It may be worth reading the latest user reviews to see if this bug has now been fixed because if it’s running smoothly then this app could be pretty awesome.
