Super Ball Juggling app review: another super addictive game by a master developer
Introduction
Within days, developer Dong Nguyen has been propelled into the realm of legendary game developers. This only had one reason: Dong developed a small game called Flappy Bird, which I happened to review only just about a week ago. This review was written just before the game became popular, but nonetheless still received a good rating. The reason this game was so popular is because it had the best “one more go” feeling I have ever had with any game, and I know most people agree with this statement.
The best iPhone apps for reaction gamesNow Flappy Bird is taken off the App Store. Due to its popularity, people are flocking to other similar games. Super Ball Juggling is a game by Dong Nguyen as well, but the gameplay is a bit different. Is it equally addictive? Or did Dong drop a ball here?
Gameplay
The gameplay of Super Ball Juggling is equally difficult as its brother Flappy Bird. In Super Ball Juggling, you control two players, each on a side of the field, trying to keep up a football. It starts with only the left player, but soon the right player will have a ball too and you need to start paying attention. As soon as a ball drops on the floor (and believe me it will), it’s game over and you will feel the urge to give it one more go. All in all the gameplay is a bit different (touch the left side to kick with the left player, and the right side to control the right player) the concept is the same. Make a frustratingly difficult game and people will keep playing it.

Graphics and Sound
If you have played Flappy Bird, you will know what to expect in the graphics department. The only difference is that in Super Ball Juggling, all the assets used are bespoke and not stolen from another unnamed game developer. I wonder if that was the reason Flappy Bird was taken offline. The sound is also very simple. There's no crowd to get you off your game, just the sound of the balls bouncing. This could actually be a relaxing game to play if it wasn’t so difficult!

Pros and Cons
Pros

- Very similar “one more go” feeling
- You will keep coming back to this one
- It’s free!
Cons
Conclusion
If you were too late to download Flappy Bird, but still want to see what it’s all about, I can recommend you to download this game. Super Ball Juggling will have your soul for the time being. The game is developed for both iPad and iPhone, and is just under 5 MB, which is nothing compared to the time you will be spending with it.
