Reviews

Introduction

What we have here is a wonderfully well-featured app that enables you to access and edit MS Excel and OpenOffice spreadsheets directly on your iPad, providing you with a great one-stop utility for all your bookkeeping and general needs.

The best iPhone apps for spreadsheets

I’d like to start off this review by saying what a relief it is to have access to a tool like this on my iPad. SpreadSheet app is by no means perfect, and I do find the interface to be a little clumsy and clunky at times, but I feel that this is sort of inevitable when you’re stuck without a mouse and keyboard.

The best iPad apps for spreadsheets-2021

First off, you’ll be pleased to know that you can view, create, and edit Microsoft Office 2007-2010 spreadsheets as well as OpenOffice spreadsheets. To clarify, this means that you can work with .xls, .xlsx, and .ods file formats.

Manage Your Files via Dropbox and More

There’s no sense in providing a full list of all of the formulas and functions supported by SpreadSheet app, but suffice to say you’ll find everything you need for financial formulas, logical conditionals, and data and time formulas, as well as a ton of mathematical and statistical functions.

You can also very easily manage all of your documents by synchronizing the app with online cloud-based services like Dropbox and Google Drive, and you can also move your files between your iPad and computer via Wi-Fi transfer.
